This certainly is not the cheapest tactical cap sold here, but the quality of materials and construction is first rate. The Velcro band allows for a perfect fit and the material is very breathable and comfortable to wear. I often forget that I even have it on, which is how a well made hat should feel. The Velcro on both front and back are both solidly stitched and can withstand repeated removal and re-application of different patches. The rear Velcro for patching is rather unique, as it serves as both a Velcro surface for (small 1" wide) a patch, but also uses Velcro on the opposite side for adjustment of size. You can't really see this in the picture, unfortunately. Being able to adjust sizing of the cap helps to keep it on in high winds and bad weather. I will probably order another of these same caps in a different color. The tan is great looking, but doesn't go with everything. I've actually had compliments from people on how nice it looks, which I can't remember happening with any other cap I've owned. Definitely worth the $2-3 extra to own a quality product.
