This bag was a replacement sent by Amazon as the one i ordered originally (different brand) was missing the center separator. To my surprise, it was a better case than expected. the case is almost rigid due to the stiffer foam on either side. The picture is exactly how it sits on a table. No sag or floppiness. The material feels nice and sturdy, the YKK zippers are painted to match the case, and the attachment points for the shoulder strap are coated metal as well. All zippers appear to be double stitched. The large end pocket has a padded separator in the middle so that two pistols can be placed in them and not rub together. It could also hold six magazines, 3/3. The center pocket has the velcro backing at the top so that you can stick on patches or name tags. Two plastic quick release buckles, as well as velcro, secure the flap. It is a wide open pocket with no separator, so items in there will move around. The three magazine pockets are just that, and are secured by velcro. They easily hold two AK or AR magazines with a little room to spare. None of the pockets can be removed from the case. The back of the case comes with two padded backpack straps which are removable, and a plastic sleeve for a business card or name card. The backpack strap attachment points are cross stitched and have rivets in place to add strength. The handle consists of a strap that is stitched and runs down both sides of the case. It has a velcro wrap in the center to combine the two handles in to one. I thought i read somewhere that the handles were merely sewn at the top of the case and had the potential to rip, but that is not the case. The straps actually run down the entire side and disappear where the side meets the bottom. The bottom of the case is approximately 4 inches wide and is also padded and stiff. the inside of the case is large enough to hold a full length AK or most any AR up to the specified length of 42 inches. The center pad is removable and can act as a shooting mat. it folds over, like a taco, and velcros in to the bottom. You could slip a rifle or shotgun in to this space as advertised, but i would think the bag would begin to get uncomfortable to haul around. The ends have padded corner flaps so that you can stick either the stock or barrel in to them to aid in securing your weapons. There are also three velcro straps on either side, inside the case. All in all, i am very happy with this item and can see it lasting many, many years. The only thing i would like to see as an improvement, would be to also place quick release buckles on the magazine flaps as well. As with everything velcro, time will degrade these closures and allow them to weaken and open on their own. They could also double stitch everything, but this would add a lot to the production time and thus the price. These are my only critiques of the design and are issue i may never experience unless i use this bag a lot and/or abuse it. Now, as to my purchase experience. I really can not give Amazon a better review on their service. I got the original case at a really good sale price, so good that they sold out. So, i was pretty disappointed to get an incomplete bag and not get an exact replacement. Amazon originally wanted me to send the case back and give me a refund. However, i really needed a case and was disappointed that the "good deal" i got would be lost. To their credit, they offered to give me a different bag, of approximately the same non-sale value, for the sale price. I agreed and am very happy with the new case and the price at which i got it. Amazon could teach companies something about customer service.
