I bought these for an EMT class and intend to continue using them for working in the future. Good pants overall, but I have a few minor issues with them:--The crotch hangs a little low despite being women's pants, forcing me to wear them higher on my waist than I would have liked. Being 5'2" and wearing a size 12, the legs were originally about 8 inches too long for me. If you are short and a little larger, you will very likely have to completely cut off a portion of each leg, so be sure you actually want these pants and won't want to return them before you alter them.--The material retains lint and dog fur easily, and I had a difficult time keeping them completely clean of fluff and lint. Occasionally they also had white streaks on them even after washing. I'm not sure what they were from, but my other clothes didn't have them, so it's likely related to the material. The streaks were easily removed with a wet washcloth, but it was inconvenient.--I found it a bother to have to wash and dry the pants separately because you shouldn't use fabric softener on them.--The pockets are not quite big enough for an iPhone 6+ with a cover, which is what I own. I had to keep it in one of the pockets with a velcro flap lower on the thigh so it wouldn't fall out, and even then it was still a bit of a squeeze. I'm considering a belt holster but I generally prefer to keep my phone shielded from the elements.--Finally, of the two pairs I ordered, one fit slightly tighter than the other one, despite being labeled as the same size. It still fit, but I definitely prefer the looser one for comfort. However, I did like the pants still and they have served me well so far:--I really liked how many pockets these pants came with. As a woman, I often don't have such a luxury with my everyday clothes. I originally ordered the Propper CriticalEdge pants with 18 pockets in addition to these, but I found that the 9 pockets that this one had suited my needs just fine and that 18 would have probably been way too many. I ended up returning the pants with 18 pockets.--They are a sturdy material, and I don't hesitate to kneel down on concrete and grass in them because I know that they'll still hold up and will protect my legs.--They also are somewhat water-resistant and will cause drops of liquid to bead up and slide down rather than being absorbed so easily.--I like that these came with a belt. I prefer to keep my nicer leather belts for less gritty conditions than those that EMS often entails.Ultimately, these aren't perfect, but as far as EMS cargo pants for women goes, I think these are pretty good among the relatively small selection we have. These pants run small. I got a size 24 thinking they would be loose fitting but to my surprise they are tight fitting. After reading the reviews I ordered one size up (I’m a 6 and I ordered an 8). The pants fit my waist perfectly, and they came up to around my belly button. The pants are unhemmed and super long but other than that I liked the way they fit overallI have just bought three pairs of these pants. The seem very tough and durable, and the pockets are extremely handy for any woman who dislikes carrying a purse everywhere. There is just one problem. The first pair I ordered fit well and the measurement from the crotch seam to the waist center back edge is 19.5 inches. The country of origin is as stated, China. The second two pairs fit less well, the reason being that the measurement from the crotch seam to the waist center back edge is 17.5 inches. This two-inch difference makes them less comfortable than the first pair. The country of origin is not China, but Haiti, for the second two pairs. I can still wear the second two pairs so I will keep them, and I think it very unlikely that, should I order any additional pairs of these pants, I will have any reasonable assurance that the pants I receive will have been made in any certain country. I do think that if they had all been made at the same facility they would all fit the same.UPDATE, 14 April 2016: The workmanship on the Haiti-made pairs is very shoddy in comparison to the China-made pair. In addition, the sizes of all the pockets on the front and the cargo pockets is so much smaller than the pockets on the China-made pair that I had to change the pocket in which I put my iPhone. Stuff sticks out and the flaps barely close. These are sturdy, very durable pants. I ordered 4 sizes up from what I normally wear since the fabric didn't seem like it would stretch much. They are still a touch small in the butt and thighs but still fit. They gap a little bit at the waist, not exactly designed for any sort of hips so be cautious if this applies to you. I'm relatively satisfied with these pants. They fit very comfortably when standing, falling just below the belly button which surprised me, I expected them to fit lower. They are not, however, very flexible so kneeling and squatting is a little challenging. The front pockets are also not super accessible since the pants are so tight in the thighs. The back and leg pockets though do all velcro shut for added security which is a plus.Overall I would say if you have a narrow or athletic frame these pants are more suited to you than someone with larger hips but would still recommend sizing up.I ordered a bunch of different brands of tactical/EMS pants. These ended up being the best for me, although be aware if you are at all even the tiniest bit pear-shaped, ORDER MANY SIZES UP! I normally wear a US 14-16 in pants and ended up fitting comfortably in the 24 pants with a belt to hold everything up on top of the elastic waist (which I surprisingly like a lot - it doesn't feel too bulky or itchy to me). I may take some fabric out of the waistband at some point, although with the belt it seems fine. For reference my natural waist is 35" and my hips are 45" (the corresponding sizes on their waist chart are 14 and 24), so you may want to use the waist measurement for hips as I did.Aside from the rather unhelpful size chart, these are great. I like that these seem similar to the 511 tactical pants with Teflon but with a wider size range and a hemmable 36" inseam (great for those of us over 5'8"). Plus the price is much better!I had no trouble hemming them to 33" inseam on a domestic/home sewing machine, although you may want to sew slowly over the outer seam. Very comfortable pant. Love the design of them. However, I am 5'4, 60kg and literally they are so long I had to cut off almost 10 inches at the bottom to just have them come to mid-foot with boots on. Overall though I am pleased with the pant and would order more.
