Anyone who frequently travels with their AR should have one of these. The MOLLE is sturdy and secures the weight of numerous double mag pouches (loaded). It’s perfect to secure and protect your rifle while providing easy access. Fully loaded rifle and six mags, back and forth from my vehicle twice a day for the past year has not weakened this scabbard in the least. It provides several means of carry: hand, scabbard sling, or the rifle”s actual sling (my preferred method). Buy with confidence!Ok I really like this scabbard came in a big ridiculous box with more than enough packaging, I guess so it wouldn't lose its shape in the mail. Has like a flexible polycarbonate sheet that gives it rigidity sturdiness which I like a lot. Comes with all kinds of d rings that you can link up to it and stick to things it has four molle straps that you can move around. When I first looked at it I was like oh this is way too small but I saw on evike someone mentioned that it could fit the airsoft AA12 in it and when I'm looking at it I was doubtful. But it totally does! tower sites and all with no hassle in its short form! Almost like it was made for it. It fits my h&r 12 gauge perfectly, my 870 is really long like four feet from tip to tip it fits it in its long configuration but your not going to be running around and definitely not pulling it off your back or anything, I got a little silly and put my aliens pulse rifle in it and surprisingly holds it but it's definitely not designed for something so oddly shaped. It will most certainly fit your M4, M16 and all that, if you put it in the right way secure it correctly. so long as you don't have a skyscraper site, if it can fit my big ridiculous AA-12 tower sites it should fit your M4 just chill on your big ridiculous sights. Now for the bad. When doing all this I saw that I had the same problem as another reviewer. The inner lining was ripped in the exact same place and I was completely happy with my purchase and was ready for a five star a but seeing that really got under my skin. The price you get it here it's pretty good I'm glad I didn't buy it from the airsoft stores or evike because they were selling it for 36 to $40 and it just a little cheaper here. But that rip is definitely annoying I haven't even had it for a full 24 hours yet and it's just inexcusable. Guns are supposed to go in and out of it and no bit of putting a gun in it should cause it to rip so easy especially in a spot where the gun doesn't really snag on it or anything. All in all I like it but the rip bums me out.Good buyFits my AR15 perfect and even my shotgun. Attaches to my main pack with no issues…highly recommendedI used this scabbard for my Mossberg 500 tactical shotgun with a foldable stock , ar-style pistol grip and 20" barrel with a large under-the-barrel Assassin brand laser pointer adapted to be a gun sight with an windage and elevation adjustable mount. I put this scabbard on the back of a tactical vest, stock down, because with the stock up on my back, i can't remove it from the scabbard. It is very secure in the downward position, I have no worries. like has been said here in another review, it fit like a glove, which means that this scabbard will easily secure accommodate all manner of AR platform rifles and pistols with stocks.'I read someplace that I can't find now that this scabbard and my tactical vest are constructed of "60D" polyester. To me that's misleading and potentially problematic. The reason is because i have no idea what 60D refers to as advertising typically throws out misleading meaningless hype and I think this is no except because when I originally saw the "60D" in advertised goods, IT WA Apparently REFFERING TO THE THICKNESS OF THE NYLON in the product, Nylon being much more durable and strong than polyester. looking at this item again I don't see the reference, so maybe it was referred to as "60\D polyester" on another product page of another brand SELLING THIS SAME EXACT PRODUCT, which is common on Amazon, different company, wide variety of pricing (whatever the specific retailer feels they can get away with) throughout Amazon and beyond..my chief criticism is that there is not enough molle strapping down the length of this scabbard to keep it tightly secure to the back of my vest. I've you look at the pictures, you'll see that the molle system is all at the top of the scabbard and none on the barrel end. This works better if the barrel where the less weight is, is pointed down on my back. But when pointed down on my back, i can't get the weapon out. Any credible, (more expensive) scabbard should have molle almost it's entire length and width. However, I believe it will work for me cuz if I didn't think so, I'd send it right back for a refund.'This same exact scabbard goes for far more under other brand names. this is the cheapest I could see and is worth the cost. There are some reviews saying it wears out that I want to discuss with some caveats: #1 obviously I just got it and don't know for sure how it will last, HOWEVER I have little doubt that it will serve my purpose, which is not every day use, but for an emergency self defense situation which may, indeed probably never will come up. So I cannot and will never be able to speak about it's durability under frequent use..i extrapolate, however that there would be no problem with the durability of the case itself unless one is scraping along rocks on a mountainside. Rather, the chief concern for durability is the straps that hold the equipment in the scabbard and the scabbard to the vest. I can say about them that they are definitely NOT overdone by any means. In my opinion, they seem to be minimally adequate for the job (I hope). I wish I could say I am confident they will never wear out or break, but I am not. I am confident that under the conditions that they may be serving me under, the straps and buckles (which are standard plastic quick release) will do their job.;Good quality. Won't fit a scoped rifle or AR platform. Described as being used for tactical rifle. Not happy with that description. Who in today's world has an AR or other rifle that's not scoped? Not many. If I open zipper all the way I can cram jam, and manipulate the gun in and strap it. I doubt doing this is good for the scope, the mounts, or holding zero. Even when you do get it in it is very unbalanced. Latch that secures strap on stock is cheap plastic. It is the only thing keeping the gun from falling out because of lack of balance. No way am I busting a good gun or scope carrying this on my back. That was the intended and implied purpose. I'm using it more like a case and holding on to the hand strap. The only advantage to this is that you can get it out a little quicker than having to unlatch or unzip a traditional case. This would have been a 5 star item if manufacturer would have made it 3-5 jnches taller and increased the length of the wider part with zipper 3 - 5 inches longer. Instead they went for cheaper and turned a good idea into a product that will fit very few gun owners needs. Not happy about that. Be aware all off these tactical AR and rifle scabbard on Amazon are knock offs of each other. Anyone who's reviewing and say they fit with a scope is either lying, has a smaller height scope than most, (mine is only 3" tall overall(, or has a gun stock that has no contour to it.
