I am very satisfied with my purchase of the Northstar Tactical Weapons Double Riffle Padded Case. I do not claim to be an expert on stitching and cloth, but this bag is well put together for my use. The stitching and cloth seem quite sturdy and durable so far. I've only hauled it from my house to the range a few times, but so far I'm impressed. It holds two of my rifles and two of my handguns comfortably with good protection with accessory pockets for magazines and some extra ammo. I will say, I usually take my ammo in a separate range bag, but I believe for my home to range uses, this bag could carry the ammo I'd need for a short hour or two visit. I will admit, I have not taken this bag hunting, and I don't want to comment on a use I have not personally tried. But again, I am extremely happy with my purchase for transporting my guns from my safe to the range or to my family's land. Not to be Captain Obvious as most people who shoot are very aware of this, but ensure you know the length of your guns to buy the appropriately sized bag. My AR's fit nicely in the 36" bag.Just received this last week and haven't had a chance to use it but first impression is great. It actually appeared to be more of a nylon material in the pics but it's more of a canvas, which is what I wanted! Had my choice narrowed down to 2 cases and chose this one (even though the material didn't appear to be what I wanted-pleasant surprise!) because it was about 5 dollars cheaper and had the 2 front zipper pockets for handguns/magazines etc. Fit's the 2 long guns I wanted it for just fine and both have a light mounted on the side. Zippers are lockable and overall just appears to be sturdy. I bought it mostly for transporting 1 long gun and ammo, and maybe a pistol, for shooting or for 2 long guns when moving so it's not likely to see "heavy" use. For what I need it for I have little doubt it will hold up great. Really like the extra pouches and 2 zip pockets. This bag is the real deal. Heavy Duty and built solid with quality materials. Fits two assault rifles and two handguns AND all the ammo you need - it gets heavy but quality manufacturing will hold all with no issues. Great Range bag and or hunting expedition. I have not tested it against the elements but will be applying some waterproofing to it to make it even better and last longer. The only thing, for me, that would make this product better is if it was lined with gore-tex to protect high priced weapons and optics and shoulder straps to carry when transporting for contract work. I didn't need to spend over 500 for a quality rifle bag - Northstar Tactical delivers. Great job. I would be interested in reviewing more of your products in the future.I bought this as a range case for my AK variant. Everything about this case is just as it should be, including the price. I originally paid around $55, but, based on what I've discovered about it, I wouldn't hesitate paying the current price if I needed another. $75 is still a steal of a deal. It's rugged, the rifle compartment is very well padded and has a couple Velcro tie-down straps, and the exterior pouches are big enough to hold practically everything I need to hit the range. I can throw in my hearing and eye protection, cleaning kit, a handful of 30-round magazines and loader, and few additional boxes of rounds. The zippers are good quality. The carry handles are strong and reliable. The shoulder strap is great. Both the look and feel scream "quality."I have zero complaints about this bag.It just has so many pouches and zippers and so much velcro, it kind of gets tedious. Not sure I'd try to store two AR's with scopes, bipods and other accessories along with ammo and cleaning equipment in this, but it makes for a great single rifle case with lots of room for other stuff. The material is rigid, thick, and strong. The zippers are plastic, but they are the big, beefy kind and have a nice piece of cord for grabbing a hold of. Excellent case for the money, but I can't say I love it, so 4 stars. At a first glance, it's a great bag. It holds my Yugo M70 w/optic and my Norinco SKS with absolutely no problems as far as spacing is concerned. The exterior pouches are nice, and allow you to carry upwards to eight 30rd AKM magazines, plus the secondary pocket with velcro sleeves for storing sidearms, tools, or what have you is very nice. As far as space goes, this is a great bag. The canvas is durable, and everything is double stitched to ensure your bag's longevity. However, the actual shoulder strap itself leaves much to be desired. The "Pad" isn't really a pad, and more or less just floats there, so it doesn't actually stay in place. In addition to that, the D-rings that are "Attached" to the bag itself aren't actually completely closed. So, carry your bag over your shoulder or back wrong and boom, you just dropped a bag loaded down with rifle(s) and optics. Say goodbye to your zero if you're using any sort of non-ruggedized or milspec optic.Bang for buck, it's alright, I guess. The strap is seriously off-putting to me, considering the risks to optics (cracking glass or losing zero) that comes into play if the D-rings shift and slip off of the bag. Me personally, though? I wouldn't buy it again. It fits two short rifles in one padded separated pocket and 2 pistols in their cases in another pocket. It also has 3 more pockets making it perfect for going to the shooting range with everything I want to take. Hopefully in a few years I will be able to say that it is durable too. I am very pleased with this purchase. I could not find anything like it in the local stores. I also received it on time which was also a plus.I purchased this bag in the hopes that the material was going to be heavy duty. I had a hard time telling from the the photos. After I got the bag I was happy to see that the material was thick, zippers sturdy, and it fit both my weapons with ease. Straps are sturdy and the padding is thick enough to protect both weapons from each other. I looked at some other bags at Cabela's and it cost more for a similar bag.
