Not that you need stockings to be super durable, but we got this because it is the perfect theme for our new soon-to-be son-in-law for his first Christmas with us. It is full of nooks and crannies for every little gift, and it has exceptional stitching and a heavy-duty handle. Again, these are not necessarily needed for a stocking, but for the style, it is on point. He's gonna love it! I marked it down one star in the giftable category only because it does not come in a giftable box in case you want to send it to someone, so it will arrive in a regular shipping bag, so that you know. Still, this is so nice that it's worth it and certainly giftable; you will just need a box or bag or opt to have it gift-wrapped by Amazon.
