This is my second pair. I am real hard on shoes and these lasted over a year. I am still wearing the first pair. I am holding onto this pair for going out.i loved them maybe too much now if using these for casual wear they may last longer but mine were casual and for running hiking all sorts of stuff other than that they are comfyUnbelievably comfortable right out of the box. Fit like a custom made glove, and feel like a high quality sneaker. Size is perfect. Plenty of width but not sloppy at all.I've been wearing Skechers Relaxed Fit hiking boots for several years and love them, but they all have the same problem with eyelets pulling out, and the last pair I bought were returned the same day because the size I've always worn all of a sudden is too narrow. So, I gave these a try and so far, so good. The only downside I can see is the sole is softer than most. Not sure how long they'll last, but at half the price of Skechers and the economy being destroyed by a cognitively challenged moron, it's worth a shot.Very comfortable. Bought a second pair, different color.Great fit. Relatively light weight. Seem to be durable so far. It was a nice surprise to find that they came with an extra set of laces. I mostly use them for yard work. They are lighter than my work boots (good for push lawn mowing) and are, so far, holding up to a good deal of walking. They also fit perfectly right out of the box which is unusual for me since I have wide feet but a narrow heel. I usually try to find a 12 or 12-1/2 wide but that’s nearly impossible these days so I went with a 13 and they fit great. Price was also reasonable for the quality.Not gonna lie. This is my second pair. The first got a hole after a little less than a year....of daily wear! These boots held up very well. And I have no problem paying $50 a year for good boots!UPDATE 2:Bumping rating up to 3 stars even with a broken eyelet, these shoes are super comfortable after several hikes now. Also, the waterproofing isn't bad at all, even if it may not last. These shoes are just so comfortable, and I'd give them 4 or 5 stars if they didn't break on the 3rd use.UPDATE:Lace eyelet broke after 3rd use right after I wrote the original review, which means these lasted for 2 1/2 hikes. ****Their customer service was responsive to this situation. Initially broke them in for 1 day, but it wasn't even needed. Out of the gate, size 9 fit perfect.Took them on a 9 miler about 1800 foot gain in winter, wet ground, dry day. Shoes definitely resisted water, but definitely not what I'd call waterproof. Next was a street flat walk about the same distance on a dry day. Held up well in both cases.Pros:Fits as expectedsuper comfortablelook goodsoles good for multiple surfaces.*Overall, way more comfortable than I expected, even on longer walks and hikes.Cons:The soles aren't very good, and I can feel smaller rocks.made in China (general concerns about longevity)Laces, I replaced the 2 pair that's included here with some better lacesMy 4 stars is based on the initial review. But so far so good!I wear a size 12 wide with a bunion on my right foot when buying new shoes I always see how the shoe fits on that foot first. There was no option to order a 12 wide when the shoes arrive I put the shoes on and was surprised that they fit and after wearing them everyday for a week I love themThese boots started off great, they fit really well and were really comfortable.Unfortunately, I've only had them 3 weeks and only walked 24 miles, walking on pavements and fields, and they've completely split apart on one side (see picture) VERY disappointed.I have hypermobile flat feet with very long toes and need to wear supportive orthotic insoles. Obtaining reasonably priced walking boots has proved difficult as the uncomfortable / painful aspects only become apparent after wearing them for a while outside, by which time I am stuck with them. Having read some positive reviews I decided to take the risk of wearing them outside and can honestly say that they are very comfortable indeed after a leisurely 4 hour walk and I feel confident about going on a long walk in them knowing that my feet won't hurt by the time I get back. They have enough cushioning to protect my feet but not so much that they are unstable for my hypermobile ankles and the heel base is sufficiently wide to be stable. Also the upper part of the boot is not so stiff as to rub against and hurt my calves, a problem I have had with some other walking boots. I have no idea how long they will last but so far, for the price, these are very good value, extremely warm and comfortable and I would recommend them highly.These boots are great for the money and very comfortable to wear and light weight my first time purchasing this type of boots I'm used to steel toe cap boots.But I am really pleased with my new purchase.It was my friend's opinions on walking boots or shoes saying that walking boots or shoes are the most comfortable footwear so I looked at loads of different types of walking boots and shoes and I finally made the above choice of the price and design and look of the boots.I have recommended these boots to my friends and family.A great fit, really comfortable and smart but my toes were soaked within 10 minutes as I walked on a grassy track. It wasn't raining but the grass was wet. I'm very dissapointed but here they are, packed and ready to return.After ordering this item on the 15th of October 2021 the left side boot has split making it unusable to wear I know it has passed the return date but should have lasted longer than this really disappointed
