I was first skeptical about buying a jacket (trying the fit, sizing, length , etc) on-line. I am an experienced ebayer and Amazon purchaser so I took a chance. I read every review and description I could get googled or answers for. I was pleased and now I am MOST Happy with this jacket. The Medium sized jacket (men's) fits true like a medium. I wear a 42Short sport jacket and this unit allows me to layer more clothing items under. The sleeves are a 32" because that's my shirt size and it's perfect for my frame. When I extend my arms, the sleeves are just right, not too long that they bunch up around the wrists. The sleeves are perfect for me. I like the details/design because it looks like it was designed by the correct end users (Military/Police/Civilian Contractors). It shows it. Every detail seems to be engineered correctly. The cuffs have the right tension elastic inside even with velcro closure. The sleeve pockets are deep enough to hold eyeglass cases and long cell phones. The hand pockets have a single polyester pile surface just enough to warm your hands and not be bulky. Well thought out! The double zipper along the exterior sides (both left and right) are perfect for CCW, or range holsters carried on the belt, paddle style. Very nice and easy to access your holster along your hip bone. The interior pockets along the bottom are well situation and will hold more eyewear, like ballistic glasses or other items that need fast access. I noticed that the 4 oz nylon is lighter and that contributes to a lighter jacket... I'm from Canada, we know parkas very well and nope, I would not call this a parka, jacket or coat maybe, but not parka. I'm giving it 5 stars because it's a well designed piece of kit. Well, I might not be going into harm's way, or being deployed, but I would rather take my ECWCS Gen2 jacket because it's more abrasion resistant and bombproof. My use of the jacket is really for hiking, skiing, light outdoor recreation and then also running the firing point on the known distance ranges. I would not be happy doing a 'stalk' with this jacket. You serious shooters know what I'm referring to. All in all, it's a great city jacket. It's a fantastic garrison jacket. It's a light use field jacket. It's something us tactical wannabe fellas can wear at the office and remain discreet. Hey, if I was an airsoft fellow, I would take this out on an inclement weather field day. Hope this helps you decide. I'm happy with this jacket. Rough use? Buy yourself an M65 jacket! Colder weather, buy a hunting parka! All the best! Hungry556
